Circle in the Square Quilters (CSQ) was formed in
1984 to bring together people who are interested in the art of
quiltmaking; to further the understanding of quilting as an intriguing and
rewarding needle craft and artistic medium; to encourage and aid women,
men, and young people in performance of the quilting and patchwork arts;
to share talents, knowledge, and techniques about quilting, past and
present; and to provide opportunities to exhibit fine examples of quilts
and patchwork, old and new. Our outreach includes the metropolitan Saint
Louis area.
