Our guild is located in the heart of the University City Loop District. Circle in the Square Quilters was formed in 1984 to:
- Bring together people who are interested in the art of quilt making
- Further the understanding of quilting as an intriguing and rewarding needle craft and artistic medium
- Encourage and aid women, men, and young people in performance of the quilting and patchwork arts; to share talents, knowledge, and techniques about quilting, past and present.
- Provide opportunities to exhibit fine examples of quilts and patchwork, old and new.
We hold six guild meetings during the year on the third Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and October. On the other months, we may have social meetings in a member’s home.
Meetings start at 6:30 PM. In 2022, we have started meeting in person again. We invite everyone, quilters and non-quilters alike, to join us. Each programs vary with presenters of diverse quilting topics. And always a great members’ show-and-tell.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 6:00 pm. Yes, we’re starting a bit earlier than usual. We’re having a potluck dinner!
