Quintessential Quilt

Members have the opportunity to become acquainted with others who are interested in quilts and quiltmaking and to learn the techniques of quilting from experienced members. We encourage participation in charitable activities through quilts and participation in our biannual quilt show. Members receive an annual membership directory and five newsletters per year, loaded with information on current quilting events. Remember to present your membership card when shopping as many local fabric stores offer discounts to guild members.

What else does CSQ do?

CSQ and the University City Historical Society co-sponsor a biennial juried quilt show, called The Quintessential Quilt. This show is presented at the University City Public Library during odd years (2007, 2009, etc). Workshops and speakers are also featured in this exhibit. Between shows, CSQ designs, hand pieces, and hand quilts a large quilt to raffle.

How do I join?

Membership Dues are $12.00 per year, payable in January. However, you can become a member any time during the year. To become a member or renew, download the membership form, and send with dues to the address listed. Thank you!
